JAY (who is JAY???)

In the beginning there was John Lennon & Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger & Keith Richards Robert Plant & Jimmy Page, Donald Fagen & Walter Becker, Elton John & Bernie Taupin, Steven Tyler & Joe Perry, Bono & Edge, and now you'll be adding the newest song writing due of George Adrian & Chad Von Haden to that list!

George Adrian started playing piano at the age of 7 but had a revelation at 12 when he heard the Black Sabbath song "Heaven and Hell", or more to the point, Tommy Iommis's brutal and haunting solo.  "It was like a lightning bolt to the head.  I knew I had to play guitar like that.", George said.

Chad Von Haden spent his youth in Savanna, Il., a few hours drive from Chicago.  Raised on the Beatles, The Guess Who, The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Etc., Chad soon found solace in the arms of Alice Cooper, KISS, Cheap Trick, and AC/DC.

George and Chad went to their very first rock show in Chicago.  Same night, same event but fate wasn't to have them meet years and over 2000 miles later.  George and Chad formed and instant, albeit unlikely bond.  They found they shared the love of writing, recording, and leaving great songs behind.

After a stint of writing they recruited drummer extraordinaire Edward Shemansky, bass scientist Johnny Martin, and guitar wondermaent Mark Tremelgia and recorded their debut album "JAY" a year later.

That was followed up by assorted shows in their home town, Hollywood (House of Blues, The Vault, Malibu Inn, Viper Room, The Joint, The Gig, Key Club, Cat Club, etc.) and headlined an outdoor July 4 festival in beautiful Zion National Park, Utah.

Presently George and Chad have signed with Hunt Talent Management and have written a batch of new songs which are being recorded for their follow up album "CREATURE COMFORT" due in 2008.
